The American Association for the Development of Bangou is an International Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded by RPCV Angel Velarde, Anthony Rodriguez and Martin (Aladji) Feukep in 2007 while Angel Velarde was serving as a small enterprise development volunteer with the Peace Corps.
AADB has two main goals:
1. The development of Bangou thru education, economic, health and cultural projects.
2. Building a strong Bangou-American relationship.
AADB is here to help Bangous and its sympathizers in the United States connect with Bangous and learn more about its tradition and culture. We encourage everyone to learn about the culture of this traditional village thru our Web site and to join as a member of AADB. As a member you will be part of a network of Bangous and Americans who are interested in the rich Bamileke culture and the economic development of Bangou.
100 percent of your contributions go to the development of Bangou. Not cars, not an office, not salaries; everything goes to the projects themselves!
Check out our Projects page and see some of the projects already completed by AADB and Join AADB to help give every Bangou the opportunity to live a full, productive and healthy life.
